Mark Siddall Gallery is an artist-run fine art gallery that seeks to inspire a lively exchange of thoughtful and socially conscious ideas.
The gallery has a casual and friendly style and is concentrated on the exhibition and sale of the works of Mark Siddall, as well as those by other exhibiting artists.
The gallery is located North of Eglinton Ave. on Wynford Dr., just steps away from the Ontario Science Centre.
- Capacity: 40, stand-up reception.
- Events may be held from 6 pm. to 11 pm. during non-business hours, unless approved by the gallery.
- Mark Siddall Gallery maintains a list of recommended vendors—or renting artists can supply their own.
- Mark Siddall Gallery does not have any on-site food-preparation facilities.
- Music may be played on our entertainment centre, which is played throughout the gallery; noise levels must be contained to within the gallery.
- Free parking is available.
- Public restrooms are located on the same floor as the gallery.

There is an additional charge of $50 per hour for set-up and clean-up. A minimum of one hour should be set aside on either side of the hire period for those activities.
What we offer:
- The gallery is open and staffed from Tuesday to Friday, 11 am. to 6 pm.; and on Saturday, from noon to 5 pm.
- The gallery’s website announces current and upcoming exhibits, and indicates the month’s featured artists. The gallery also promotes new work via e-mail press releases, and will allow artists to take advantage of its mailing list if they elect to promote their work with direct-mail initiatives.
- Although the gallery doesn’t pay promotional expenses, gallery staff dedicates a portion of its time to promoting the work of exhibiting artists.
- If an artist wishes to hold an opening reception, the cost of the reception—and all expenses engaged to promote it—will be paid by the artist.
- Artists showing with the gallery will enjoy considerable flexibility regarding what pieces are shown; however, the gallery reserves the right to refuse work its principals deem unacceptable due to content, quality, presentation or any other issue. Work must be presented in a professional manner with ample space allotted for each piece presented. Gallery staff operates as senior curator for all works on display, in order to maintain a high level of quality and professionalism.
- The gallery is responsible for installation of the artwork and printing show tags indicating each work’s title, medium and price on “wall-friendly” labels

- Announcement postcard printing services;
- Exhibit framing services;
- Fine Art printing;
- Curatorial advice;
- Catering;
- Making jpegs available for the website;
- Media contact list for promotion of exhibit;
- Doorman and/or server for opening reception.
Artists are responsible for:
- Artwork being in “gallery-worthy” state (no clip frames, etc.);
- Cost of shipping artwork to/from gallery;
- Promotion and advertising of show;
- Distribution of show announcements/invitations to own contacts;
- Provision of bio and/or relevant artist’s statement;
- Provision of jpegs for exhibit webpage;
- Procurement of insurance of artwork during transit and while in gallery.
To rent the gallery space, artists must adhere to the following path:

04Sign space rental agreement.
05Arrange meeting with gallery representatives to review event details.
06Submit rental fee 30 days prior to event date.
